Generally regarded as the single most authentic collection of Ahadeeth, Sahih Al-Bukhari covers almost all aspects of life in providing proper guidance from the messenger of Allah.
This 9-Volume Bukhari set is the work of over 16 years by Imam Bukhari who before writing any Hadeeth in this book performed two Rakat prayer of guidance from Allah and when he was sure of the Hadeeth’s authenticity, he wrote it in the book.
In Imam Bukhari’s ‘Al-Jami-al-Sahih’ (Sahih Al Bukhari) the Imam had recorded all the Sayings of the Prophet which he found to be genuine after thorough examination and scrutiny. He spent sixteen years in research and examined more than sixty thousand Sayings from which he selected only sayings whose genuineness and accuracy he established beyond the slightest doubt. Deducting duplicates, the Imam’s collection contain about four thousand distinct Sayings.

Narrated ‘Ali: While we were sitting with the Prophet (peace be upon him) who had a stick with which he was scraping the earth, he lowered his head and said, ’There is none of you but has his place assigned either in the (Hell) Fire or in Paradise.’ Thereupon a man from the people said, ‘Shall we not depend on this, O Allah’s Messenger?’ The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, ‘No, but carry on and do your deeds, for everybody finds it easy to do such deeds (as will lead him to his place).’ The Prophet (peace be upon him) then recited the Verse: ‘As for him who gives (in charity) and keeps his duty to Allah...’ (92:5
Chapter 2 - Afdall Al-Istighfar (The best way of asking for forgiveness from Allah) The statement of Allah: '...Ask forgiveness from your Lord. Verily, He is Oft-Forgiving; He will send rain to you in abundance and give you increase in wealth and children, and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers' V 71:10-12 And also the statement of Allah: 'And those who, when they have commited Fahishah (illegal sexual intercourse) or wronged themselves with evil, remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their sins; - and none can forgive sins but Allah - and do not persist in what (wrong) they have done, while they know." Narrated Shaddad bin Aus: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, ‘The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is: ’Allahuma Anta Rabbi la ilaha illa Anta khalaqtani wa ana ‘abduka, wa ana ’ala ‘ahdika wa wa’dika mastata’tu. A’udhu bika min sharri ma sana’tu, abu’u laka bini’matika ‘alaiya, wa abu’u bidhanbi faghfirli innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa Anta.’ **
The Prophet (peace be upon him) added, 'If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise.'
** (English Interpretation) ‘O Allah, You are my Lord!’ None as the right to be worshipped but You. You created me and I am Your slave, and I am faithful to my convenant and my promise (to You) as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from all the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me, and I confess to You all my sins. So I entreat You to forgive my sins, for nobody can forgive sins except You.’
Volume 9 Book 91 - The Book of the Interpretation of Dreams Chapter 3 - Good Dreams are from Allah Hadith 6985 Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, ‘If anyone of you sees a dream that he likes, then it is from Allah, and he should thank Allah for it and narrate it to others; but if he sees something else, i.e. a dream he dislikes, then it is from Satan, and he should seek refuge with Allah from its evil, and he should not mention it to anybody, for it will not harm him.’

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "May Allah's Mercy be on you! You have cut the neck of your friend." The Prophet (peace be upon him) repeated this sentence many times and said, "If it is indispensable for anyone of you to praise someone, then he should say, 'I think that he is so-and-so,' if he really thinks that he is such. Allah is the One Who will take his accounts (as He knows his reality) and none can sanctify anybody before Allah." (Khalid said, "Woe to you," instead of "Allah's Mercy be on you.")
Chapter 4 - Characteristics of the sun and the moon. The sun and the moon run on their fixed courses (exactly) calculated with measured out stages for each (for reckoning). (V.55:5)
Narrated ‘Abdullah bin ’Abbas: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, ‘The sun and the moon are two signs amongs the Signs of Allah. They do not eclipse because of someone’s death or life (i.e. birth). So, if you see them (i.e. eclipse), remember Allah (i.e. offer the eclipse prayer).

Narrated 'Abdullah: I used to greet the Prophet (peace be upon him) while he was in as-Salaat (the prayer) and he would return my greeting, but when we returned (from Ethiopia) I greeted the Prophet (peace be upon him) (while he was offering salaat) but he did not return the greeting, and (after finishing the Salaat) he said, "In as-Salaat one is occupied (with a more serious matter)."
